Welcome to the Preschool Lab!  The School of Human Ecology's, Preschool Laboratory (PSL) is a child development and early learning program for community children and a teaching and research laboratory for University students, faculty and staff.  We offer year round programs for children ages 6 weeks-5 years and a school-age program (grades K-3rd) in the summer.

This web site is designed to provide information to various people who may be interested in our program including:

• Currently enrolled parents looking at the classroom pages or for policy information;
• New parents wondering about our educational program and how to enroll their child;
• Parents of a school-age child looking for a K-3rd grade summer program;
• UW students looking for an internship placement site or for employment;
• Students hoping to do an observation or to get practical experiences with children;
• University instructors and researchers interested including our population in a research study or class project;
• And other individuals who want to learn more about the other the high quality services we provide.
